Mobile Read-Only User Setting

Give users visibility via the mobile app without the ability to make changes

The Read-Only user setting gives users view-only access in the mobile app, allowing them to see trip or booking data without the ability to create or edit bookings. This is commonly used for crew members to view orders booked on their behalf by company travel arrangers.

  • This setting applies only to FlightBridge mobile app users
  • The user will not be able to access the account via the web portal
  • Users will be able to access “My Account” within the app in order to add or edit personal information within their Traveler Profile, such as DOB, gender, loyalty reward accounts, and default credit card.

How to Enable Read-Only Access

Note: The Read-Only setting must be activated at the company level by FlightBridge Support before it can be used. Please contact support@flightbridge.com to request access. After activation, account administrators will be able to assign this permission to individual users.

  1. Navigate to Setup
  2. Click on Users
  3. Locate the user you wish to update
  4. In the Permissions section, enable Mobile read-only user access
  5. Confirm your changes

Mobile Read-Only Views

If a user set as Mobile Read-Only attempts to log in via the web platform, they will come across the following message:

View of the mobile app for a user with the Mobile Read-Only setting turned on:
