FlightAware Toolbox Integration - FBO Users

FBOs that have a FlightAware Toolbox subscription can activate the integration with FlightBridge

FBOs that have an active subscription to the FlightAware Toolbox will be able to utilize the FlightAware Toolbox/FlightBridge integration at no cost.

How the integration works....

  • FlightAware will link with existing FlightBridge reservations as long as the FlightBridge reservation Tail Number OR Callsign matches what is listed in the FlightAware Toolbox.

Note: If a Callsign is being utilized for an aircraft in the FlightAware Toolbox, the FlightBridge user will need to add the assigned Callsign to the “Aircraft Tail Edit” Callsign field for the associated Tail. Once this Callsign is stored for a specific Tail, the FlightAware system will link with that Tail for current and future FlightBridge reservations.

  • Once the FlightAware Toolbox links with the existing FlightBridge reservation, the updates to the ETA, ETD, ATA and ATD will begin to display for the associated aircraft.

  • When the FlightAware Toolbox displays links with the associated FlightBridge reservation:
    • The date/time column on the main schedule screen will then display in italics.
    • Hover over the date/time in italics to see a pop-up box advising the previous and most current update of ETA, ETD, ATA or ATD from the FlightAware Toolbox.
    • Open the FlightBridge reservation to see the FlightAware Toolbox display of the FlightAware ETA, ETD, ATA or ATD in the area between the Pull Up Time and Reservation Archived

    • When the FlightAware Toolbox A/c Tail goes enroute, the linked associated Flightbridge reservation will automatically be marked as “Inbound” on the opened FlightBridge reservation. When an aircraft is marked as “Inbound,” the associated Arrival icon, date/time, trip purpose, A/c Tail and  Type will display in purple on the main schedule screen.

    • When available, the FlightAware ToolBox will automatically fill in the “Arriving from Airport” and “Departing to Airport” field within the opened associated FlightBridge reservation.

  • FlightBridge TV will also display the FlightAware Toolbox updates and A/c status with the associated FlightBridge reservation.

  • FlightBridge Reservations linked with the associated Tail number in the FlightAware Toolbox will have the FlightAware updates to the reservation listed in the reservation history.

  • Disconnection of FlightAware Toolbox updates for a particular reservation is available by opening the FlightBridge associated reservation and selecting the “X” to disconnect/delete the flight following data.

  • Additional future FlightAware enhancement will be for FBO Toolbox to display a special icon next to the flights that are known to be destined for a specific FBO (when more than one FBO is on the field).
