How do I enable notifications for the mobile app?

To enable notifications via the FlightBridge app:

  1. Download/install the FlightBridge mobile app on an iOS or Android device
  2. Open the app and log in with an existing FlightBridge account
  3. Accept/allow push notifications when prompted (accept the notifications in the pop-up modal)

To enable notifications via your phone's settings:

On iOS

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Scroll down and tap FlightBridge.
  4. Turn on Allow Notifications.
  5. Choose how you want notifications to appear, such as Lock Screen, Notification Center, Banners, Sounds, and Badges.

Apple also supports managing notifications by going to Settings > Apps > FlightBridge > Notifications on newer iOS versions.

On Android

  1. Open Settings on your Android device.
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Tap App notifications.
  4. Find and tap FlightBridge.
  5. Turn on notifications for the app.
  6. If notification categories are shown, make sure the relevant FlightBridge notification types are also turned on.

Android settings can vary by device, so some users may need to go to Settings > Apps > FlightBridge > Notifications instead.

Types of notifications sent via the mobile app:

The FlightBridge mobile app supports push notifications (on both iOS and Android devices) to alert the user of the following actions:

  • Service Completed - Push notifications are sent for Fuel, Hangar, Lav, and Handling checklist items. Notifications are sent when a service is marked complete by the provider/FBO.
  • All Delivered - Push notifications are sent for Catering, Limousine, and Rental Car orders when every order under a checklist item moves to Delivered status. These notifications are sent to crew members only.
  • Rental Car Delivery - Push notifications are sent for a successful rental car delivery (for standalone orders only); Sent to the user who created the reservation (the booker), not the driver.

Future mobile app enhancements will add more functionality and customization over which push notifications are sent.

Still not receiving notifications?

If notifications are turned on but you still are not receiving alerts, check that Focus / Do Not Disturb is not silencing notifications on your device. Additionally, ensure you are signed into the app with the correct FlightBridge account. At this time, notifications are only sent to the most recently registered mobile device for a user. Lastly, ensure your device is connected to the internet, and ensure the notification type is one of the notifications currently supported in the mobile app (see the list above).
