Standard Aircraft Types - FBO Users

Use the Standard Aircraft Type feature to edit an existing Aircraft Type or create new Standard Aircraft Types to match your FBO's requirements

"Standard Aircraft Types" is a feature that assists FBOs with creating and managing their FBO aircraft types. Utilizing this tool will help correct mislabeled aircraft types and will reduce the chance of an incorrect aircraft type being selected within a reservation. 

The Aircraft Types already stored within your FBOs account can be standardized to ensure future reservations display the Standard Aircraft Type preferred by your FBO. 

NoteAircraft types are added to the account in the below three ways:

1. Entry of Aircraft Type by a FBO User when creating a reservation. 

2. FBO users addition of Aircraft Type, associated with a Tail Number, within an Operator Account.

3.FlightBridge using Aircraft Operators and Pilots Aircraft Types are passed over to the FBOs Operator account via their submitted reservation requests. 


Standardize Aircraft Types through the below two screens:

  • Aircraft Edit Screen
  • All Standard Aircraft Type Screen

Alert: The ability to Standardize Aircraft Types is only accessible by FBO Users with Admin permissions.

Aircraft Edit Screen

Begin the aircraft type standardization process through the Aircraft Edit Screen which is accessible within an Aircraft Reservation or Operator Account. 

  • Aircraft Reservation (Select to open the reservation from the main concierge schedule screen)
    • Click on Aircraft Tail  to access the Aircraft Edit screen

  • Operator Account (Setup > Operators > Search by Tail or Operator Name and select the existing Operator Account)

    • Click on the Tail Number to access the Aircraft Edit Screen

Once within the Aircraft Edit Screen, verify the existing Aircraft Type listed should be changed within your FBO Account. 

  1. Click   to open the Standardize Aircraft Type screen.



  2. Within the Standardize Aircraft Type Screen, the" Existing Aircraft Type Description" pre-populated field will display along with the "Change to Standard Aircraft Type" field for the user to enter a new Standard Aircraft Type.

  3. Select  to create a rule to automatically change the Existing Aircraft Type Description to a Standard Aircraft Type for your FBO account.


Note: After selecting Create Rule, it can take up to a full minute before you see the Aircraft Type update through your account and display on the All Standard Aircraft Types Screen.


  1. The new Standard Aircraft Type will then be listed in the All Standard Aircraft Types Screen.


  2. Select the new Standard Aircraft Type to view the alternate description now associated with the new Standard Aircraft Type Description. All alternate descriptions will automatically be changed to the Standard Aircraft Type created. 

All Standard Aircraft Types

Create new and manage existing Standard Aircraft Types through the All Standard Aircraft Types Screen (Setup > Standard Aircraft Types).

Once within the All Standard Aircraft Types screen, a user can create and manage Standard Aircraft Types for their FBO.

  1. Create New Standard Aircraft Types Descriptions by selecting .

  2. Manage Standard Aircraft Types by selecting the Standard Aircraft Type Description from the list to access the below functions: 
    • Edit the Standard Aircraft Type Description Name
    • Add New Alternate Descriptions
    • Delete Alternate Descriptions
