Acknowledging Operator Arrival & Departure Notifications

Aircraft operators and pilots use FlightBridge notifications to save time and increase operational efficiency

Aircraft Operators and Pilots use FlightBridge to send Arrival and Departure Notifications to your FBO. These operator Notifications arrive in your front desk email inbox. Notifications will also appear on your FlightBridge schedule if your FBO has a FlightBridge account. 

Customers often ask questions or request information that require your response via these Notifications. Your “click” in response to acknowledge their upcoming visit and providing answers to any questions, makes it virtually effortless to offer your customer the peace of mind that comes with knowing their visit is not just anticipated but appreciated. Your customer has chosen to communicate electronically for several reasons:

  • Shared desire to save time
  • Work more efficiently
  • Build a seamless, productive and lasting relationship

  1. Watch for emails from FlightBridge Dispatch. These are Arrival and Departure Notifications from your Customers using the FlightBridge system. Click the button within the email to easily respond.



  2. The next screen is where you can answer your Customers' questions, provide requested information and acknowledge their aircraft's arrival.

AlertEnsure you answer your Customers questions in the note field to avoid the Customer waiting and wondering whether you received their important requests, requiring that they also make a follow-up phone call to confirm. 

Any FBO can create a FlightBridge account and utilize Standard Notes and Attachments to save time, reduce errors, include important marketing material and location specific information with their responses.

FBOs that have or create a FlightBridge account see more features available to them, including




  1. Once the FBO CSR clicks Send, your Customer will receive your Acknowledgment and response which will include answers to their questions along with any notes.



Alert: If you do not Acknowledge, it forces the aircraft operator to call you to make sure you received their information. Your Customer has chosen to send these Notifications electronically via FlightBridge to save time and avoid those extra phone calls.

  1. Here is a view of what your Customer sees inside of their FlightBridge system.


  2. If your Customer makes a change to their arrival or departure notification, you will receive a new email with the updated information.

    FBOs that have or create a FlightBridge account see the updates appear automatically on their Schedule View in addition to receiving the updates via email.
