Capacity Manager - FBO Users

The Premium Version of FlightBridge offers the Capacity Manager feature which provides FBOs the ability to optimize aircraft parking control

Capacity Manager is a valuable tool for FBOs seeking enhanced control and operational efficiency in managing aircraft parking facilities.

Benefits of Capacity Manager:

  • Effectively monitor capacity levels in real-time with color-coded visual indicator
  • Dynamic capacity fluctuations
  • Make informed decisions regarding parking availability to avoid overcapacity situations
  • Manage the challenges of limited parking availability and special event parking

Capacity Manager with visual indicators on the main schedule screen

  • Green represents lower occupancy levels
  • Orange signifies higher occupancy and within the warning threshold
  • Red is displayed when the total capacity is reached
  • Hover over the visual indicator to display the dynamic Capacity % and number of units remaining

Info: The capacity levels displayed by the Capacity Manager are subject to continuous fluctuations. Factors such as arrivals, cancellations, and modifications to reservations influence these fluctuations. Awareness that the displayed capacity may change as cancellations occur before the scheduled date. This dynamic nature of the  Capacity Manager necessitates regular monitoring to ensure accurate parking availability information.

  2. Apply the Capacity Manager settings tailored to your operation.

Info: Select to create specific capacity settings for various effective dates.

  3. Determine specific weighting/unit numbers for various aircraft types based on available parking space. Reservations that don't have a capacity weighting/unit set, can be identified with icon located in the capacity manager column on the main schedule screen.

  4. Assign the specific capacity weighting/unit number for a specific aircraft type from within the reservation > Aircraft Tail >Edit

  5. Select the checkbox for “Use weighting for all aircraft of this type” to apply the assigned capacity weighting to all current and future reservations utilizing that exact aircraft type.

  6. Visit the FlightBridge Standard Aircraft Types feature article to learn more about streamlining the capacity management process.

Info: FBOs can define a set of standard aircraft types, each associated with a specific weighting number. This standardization allows FlightBridge to interpret different variations of an aircraft type as the same entity. By ensuring consistent aircraft type identification, FBOs can effectively apply weighting numbers/units and manage capacity for each aircraft.
