Moving a Hotel or Rental Car Booking - Operator Users

Operators can move a hotel and rental car booking from an event or an active/canceled leg to another leg

Instances for moving a booking instead of cancelling and rebooking:

  • Trip changes such as a tail switch
  • Booking was originally made with a Book Now button and needs to be moved to a trip
 

Follow the steps in this article to successfully move an existing hotel or rental car booking from an active leg, cancelled leg or an event to another leg on your schedule.

  1. Locate the booking that you would like to move to another leg.

    From the Active and Upcoming Trips view: Click Edit under Actions or click on the confirmation number.



    From the Schedules view: Click Edit or click on the confirmation number.


     
  2. Ensure the checkbox is selected next to the traveler's name and verify the correct booking is selected. Click .


     
  3. A screen will appear listing all of the upcoming legs you can move the booking to. To narrow down the list, you can search by tail or trip number. Select the appropriate leg that you want to move the booking to and click Save.


     

Note: If you are removing the service from a cancelled leg, the cancelled leg will be removed from the trip once this is complete.
