List Operators and Outsourced Aircraft - Operator Users

Assign Operators to specific tails and label them as outsourced or part of your own fleet

Utilize the List Operators and Outsourced Aircraft features to help organize tail numbers and filter upcoming trips as outsourced or not outsourced.

Delete

Alert: The ability to access List Operators and to edit Aircraft is only accessible by Operator Users with Admin permissions.

List Operators

Use the "List Operators" feature to add, edit and delete Operator companies as well as label them as part of your own fleet or as outsourced lift. Follow the steps below to access List Operators.

  1. Select Setup > List Operators on the blue menu bar.


  2. Here you will find a list of Aircraft Operators that have been setup within your account.

Integrated Operator Accounts

If you are using an integrated FlightBridge account (with flight scheduling system integration) you can follow the below steps to mark an Operator as part of your own fleet or as outsourced lift.

  1. Select Setup > List Operators on the blue menu bar.
  2. Click on an existing Operator.


  3. Select "Yes" if this is an Operator that is a part of your own fleet or "No" if this is an Operator outside of your fleet. The External ID field will likely be prepopulated by your scheduling system.

     
  4. Click Save to complete.
  5. You will be brought back to the List Operator screen. Operators that are a part of your own fleet will be labeled with a "Yes" under the "Is Demo Aircraft Operator" column. Here you can sort to see them grouped together.


  6. Next, go to Setup > Aircraft on the blue menu bar.


  7. The Operator names may flow through to FlightBridge via the integration with your scheduling system however, you can also assign the Operator name manually. To do so, click on the tail number you wish to edit.
  8. Select the Aircraft Operator from the dropdown listing.


  9. Click Save to complete.

Non-Integrated Operator Accounts

If you are using a non-integrated FlightBridge account (without flight scheduling system integration) you can follow the below steps.

  1. Select Setup > List Operators on the blue menu bar.
  2. Click +Add New Operator to add an Operator to your account or click on an existing Operator to edit the record.



  3. Input the Operator name and select "Yes" if this is an Operator that is a part of your own fleet or "No" if this is an Operator outside of your fleet. The External ID field is optional.


  4. Click Save to complete.
  5. You will be brought back to the List Operator screen. Operators that are a part of your own fleet will be labeled with a "Yes" under the "Is Demo Aircraft Operator" column. Here you can sort to see them grouped together.



  6. To edit or delete and Operator, click on the Operator's name and proceed accordingly.


  7. Next, go to Setup > Aircraft on the blue menu bar.


  8. Click on a tail number to assign or modify the Operator name manually. 
  9. Select the Aircraft Operator from the dropdown listing.


  10. Click Save to complete.

Schedule View: Outsourced Aircraft

Outsourced aircraft will appear "highlighted" within your schedule view to differentiate them from your own fleet.

To adjust your view, you can expand the Search for Legs bar and adjust your filter settings to view all tails (outsourced and not-outsourced), only outsourced or only not-outsourced. Click Search to apply your criteria.

To adjust the default settings, click Schedule Setup on the top right of your schedule view. Here you can set to view only outsourced tails (Yes), no outsourced tails (No) or all tails (outsourced and not-outsourced) by choosing "Ignore". Click Save to apply your criteria.
