User Setup Screen

  1. Reference the guidelines below for field entry within the User Setup screen.

  2. Select the appropriate permissions to be applied for the User.

Add and Edit Trips – Only visible if you do not already use an integrated scheduling system. This function controls the user's ability to create and edit trips directly in FlightBridge.
Administrator – This controls access to advanced areas of the system that you may want to restrict. For example, company settings and adding or disabling users.
Modify Crew Bookings only – Set to “Yes” to prevent this user from making, cancelling, or modifying bookings for Passengers. They will have "View only" access to passenger bookings.
Credit Card Access – Select "This user's cards only" if the user should have access to their own list of credit cards. Select "Company-wide shared cards" if the user should have access to the company-wide list of shared cards.
Tail Numbers permission – Selecting “No” will limit the user to access information for only one or more specific tails. They will not have access to any information in FlightBridge for other aircraft.
Pax and Crew permission – By selecting “No” you can then specify one or more crew member (or passenger) names. This limits the user to only seeing trips for that designated person (or people). A typical use of this is to limit a crew member to just his or her own trips. Enter just that one crew member's name. Another use is for an executive admin to only access trips for individuals that they assist (enter all passenger names for whom this person provides assistance).
Airports – Selecting “No” will limit this user to just trips that include certain airports.
IP Addresses – Advanced feature that restricts an account from only be used from certain known locations (only from the office for example, but logins from outside the office are prevented). This may require some advanced Information Technology support to ensure IP Addresses are determined and specified correctly.
  1. Once you click , the User will receive an email prompting them to activate their account.

Info: If there is a Not Activated label within the User listing, this indicates that User has not yet activated their login and setup a password. To learn more about activation, please visit Not Activated User IDs.
