Book services for events not related to scheduled trips, such as training

Crew members may have scheduled duty requirements other than flight duty that require services to be booked, such as training events.  Passengers may request additional services not related to scheduled flight legs to be booked on their behalf.  The event module in FlightBridge allows the option to create scheduled events in order to book services for crew and passengers outside of scheduled trips.

Accessing Events

To begin, select +Add New Event from the Trips menu.

Utilizing Events

  1. Add your event name as in the example below.

  2. Select the nearby airport so that FlightBridge may populate service providers from the directory when you are ready to begin booking.

  3. Add your FBO - this is optional, however, if you would like to access FBO rates for hotels and rentals cars, it is necessary to select an FBO here.

  4. Enter your start and end dates and times for the entire event - you can adjust your dates and times for each booking as necessary.

  5. Add attendees - begin to type the name and then select from the type ahead list in order to ensure that any loyalty information associated with the existing profile will populate automatically for all bookings.  If a profile does not exist, you may create a new one here.  Multiple attendees may be added to book for multiple crew or pax at once.

  6. Add any additional notes pertinent to your event.

  7. Save

  8. Once saved, your event will show on your trip listing under the Event Name you entered.  You can begin booking services with the "Add service" button and select the service type you wish to book.

Info:  If you use the Book Now Airline, Hotel or Rental Car buttons to begin an ad hoc booking, these bookings will now become events in your trip listing.  You can use the Edit button under the Actions menu to make changes to the event as needed.
