Helpful tips for crew members using FlightBridge to book services

How can I access FlightBridge?

FlightBridge is a web based program. You can log in with your email address and self-generated password from any computer, tablet or phone that has Internet access.


Will I get my Hilton and Marriott points if I book hotels through FlightBridge?

Yes, loyalty numbers for hotels and rental cars can be entered and stored against your profile in FlightBridge so you will earn the same points as you would by booking direct.


Will I be able to see my reservation in the hotel’s app?

Yes, if your loyalty number is entered at the time of booking in FlightBridge, you will see your reservation in the app.


What is the advantage of booking through FlightBridge instead of the hotel app?

Booking in FlightBridge allows you to access FlightBridge pre-negotiated rates and FBO pre-negotiated rates which also come with the best cancellation policies.  FlightBridge stores your booking information all in one convenient place where other crew members and schedulers can easily view and share information.  Through integration with scheduling software, this information is transferred to your trip sheet all without the need to re-key any data which saves time, increases efficiency and eliminates errors.


What if I have an early morning arrival and need my hotel reservation booked the night before?

FlightBridge recognizes early morning arrivals and will display a warning prompting you to consider changing your check in date to the previous day, and will open the edit check-in date screen at the same time.



If you have the need to edit dates for a reposition or any other event that is not an early morning arrival, you can use the “Edit Search” button to access.



Where will my confirmation information be stored / how can I access it?

Confirmation information can be sent to you via email at the time of booking by checking the “Send calendar entry” button next to the name prior to completing the booking.  You can also access the information by logging into FlightBridge from any computer or device and click on the confirmation number to view the booking details.  Through scheduling integration, confirmations are also sent to the notes in your scheduling software, making the details viewable on your trip sheets.


Can I book for other crew members at the same time?

You can easily book for the other crew members on your trip at the same time you complete your own booking.


Why can’t I see my other crew member’s credit card if they have booked in FlightBridge previously?

If other crew members have booked in FlightBridge but did not store their credit card as preferred on their profile, you will not see it on the booking page. As long as they set their card as preferred within their profile, you may book for any other crew members you fly with, under their own preferred card.


How can I update my profile information?

The profile is updated each time you book so you only have to enter a loyalty number on the first booking and it will automatically be stored to your profile for future use.  If you would like to add or edit something on your profile at any other time you may access your preferences by going to Setup>My Account and select the Traveler Preferences tab.  See Add Crew Loyalty Information for more details.


Where can I find my receipt after my hotel stay?

FlightBridge does not process the credit card charges for reservations so we are unable to provide receipts, they should be requested directly from the hotel or rental car company.


How can I find my bookings if I have been removed from the trip as a crew member?

From the menu, select “Requests” and “My Orders” which will display a list of all of your bookings, searchable by date range.


Does FlightBridge have an “App”?

Not yet, but our new Crew app will be coming soon!  

FlightBridge is currently designed to work well from an iPad or other tablet.  It works best with your tablet turned on its side (landscape versus portrait).  To create a shortcut on your iPad Home Screen (for easy access back to FlightBridge just like other apps) see FlightBridge App For Crew.


I’m having technical problems (system frozen – no confirmation numbers, etc).  What do I do?

The most common problem is a browser setting that is preventing you from storing the credit card information at the time of booking.   You can bypass this by going to the Setup menu, select credit cards, add new credit card, and enter and store the information there.  Then when you begin your hotel booking again, you can select the appropriate card from the list to complete your booking.
