Checklist Rules - Operator Users

Add Rules to Custom Checklist Items to trigger review upon trip changes

When trip changes occur after checklist items have been completed, a review may be required prior to releasing the flight.  For example, if your dispatch team has completed a NOTAM check and set the checklist item status to green or "complete" and subsequently the arrival airport changes, the dispatcher will need to complete a new NOTAM check, then set the item back to "complete".

Info: All users can update checklist item statuses to review and back to in progress or completed however, only Administrators on the account can add and edit rules.

Add New Rule

  1. Go to Setup > Checklist Status Rules > Add New.

  2. Select the Checklist Item and the Change Type.

  3. Add the Trip Change Triggers that will set the checklist item to "Review" and select the statuses in which the review will fire. Select Save once completed.

Utilizing Rules

  1. Rules will automatically set checklist items to review status when a "trigger change" occurs in the scheduling system.

  2. Users can also manually select to set a checklist item to review status from the schedule and add notes.
